Bridgewater, MA - The Beantown Bullies Major Midget team will gear up this weekend in the Hub City Cup Major Tournament June 18-21 @ Bridgewater, MA. The Bullies will kick off their first game against the New England Nordiques '92 team @ 8:10 pm Thursday.

UPDATE: Bullies dominate Nordiques 7-4 in the opening game...leading the way up front was Garrett White (Pomfret) with 4 pts, Connor Quinn (Pomfret) (3 pts), Joe Bruckler (Boston Jr. Rangers) (2 pts) and Steve McKenna (Dexter) (2 pts).Both goaltenders were great, Dan Bowen (Milton Academy) and George Tedford (Waltham HS). The Bullies blueline was tough to beat and did an excellent job on both sides of the puck. Kyle O'Brien (Cushing Academy) and Paul Wrenn (Dexter) did a great job offensively, while Dan Reardon (Billerica HS), Mike Larrabee (Undecided), Jarad Cahoon (Boston Advantage) and Zac Zakas (Undecided) played stellar two way hockey.

Friday, they face-off against Mass Attack @ 3:40 pm. UPDATE: Today the Bullies put the beat down on Mass Attack 7-1 in game two. Nick Tovey (Northern Cyclones) had a 5 point day scoring 2 goals and 3 assists, also leading the way was shifty '93 Jimmy Vesey (Belmont Hill) with 2 goals. It was another solid preformance from both goaltenders George Tedford (Waltham HS) and Dan Bowen (Milton Academy). Blueliner Dan Reardon (Billerica HS) also added a goal. 

Up next Saturday @ 3:00 pm against the New England Stars. Good luck to the Majors
