Waltham, MA - Beantown Bullies forward and Waltham, MA native Kyle Thomas has committed to Division 3 powerhouse Norwich University for the 2009-10 season. Thomas, a Jan. 1990 birthdate, is a strong skating winger with tremendous upside and athleticism.  "Kyle is a great kid and a great athlete, Norwich is getting a excellent hockey player" said Peter Ward. I recruited Kyle to the South Shore Kings out of Waltham High School where the standout played for coach John Maguire. He made an immediate impact playing in the Eastern Junior Hockey League posting 12-15-27pts in 42 games and was getting some division 1 attention but felt like Norwich was the school for him and I couldn't be prouder of him. Kyle's dad Bill Thomas is no slouch himself. Bill Thomas played football for Boston College before enjoying and NFL career with a stop in Dallas  with the Cowboys.
