Lowell, MA - Long time Beantown Bullies forward Joe Pendenza has committed to Umass Lowell (Hockey East D1) for the '10 season. "Joe is a great kid and a great hockey player. He has all the tools to be successful at the next level, I am very proud of him" said Peter Ward. "He has worked very hard for this and made some sacrifices along the way and it worked". A late '90 birth, Joe is a strong skater with exceptional hockey sense and goal scorers touch. He currently sits second in scoring for the Boston Junior Bruins (Eastern Junior A) with 22-27-49 pts. He was an Eastern Junior League All-Star this year and also ranked by the NHL's Central Scouting Preliminary rankings for the 2009 draft.
