Middletown, Conn. - Longtime Beantown Bullies sniper Nik Tasiopoulos has committed to Wesleyan University (NESCAC) for the 2010-2011 season. Nik, a 9/25/90 birth and senior at the Proctor School and is currently in 8th place in scoring in all of Div. 1 Prep school with 6-19-25 pts. "Taz is a numbers machine" said Peter Ward. "He has an uncanny ability to produce no matter where he is, Wesleyan is getting a player who can produce points". Tasiopoulos has been with the Bullies since the beginning and is one of the original members of the Beantown Bullies Junior Major team since he was a freshman at Thayer Academy in 05-06. In over three years of prep school hockey, Taz has amassed a total of 96 points (45g-51a-96pts) between Thayer Academy and the Proctor School which he transferred to in 2008.
